Kamchatka
Kamchatka is one of the world's largest peninsulas. It is located in the Pacific Ocean at the edge of the Asian continent. The book tells the story of a motorcycle trip to hard-to-reach places in Kamchatka: Lake Kuril – to see the largest concentration of brown bears in the world, Cape Africa – to reach the easternmost point of Kamchatka in the Bering Sea, Ksudach volcano – to try to descend on a motorcycle into the huge crater of an active volcano.
A book about the expedition along the longest winter roads, through the coldest places on the planet, inhabited by people who have managed to adapt to the incredible frosts of Yakutia and Chukotka.
The story of a journey through Yakutia, Magadan region and Chukotka. About an amazing romantic land between two oceans: the Pacific Ocean and the Arctic Ocean. Severe nature, thousands of kilometers of dirt roads, mountains, seas, rivers, tundra and, of course, the people who live in this cold land.
The book tells the story of how I spent two months with my motorcycle on the island between Siberia and Alaska, far from hectic city life, surrounded by wildlife and the descendants of American settlers who inhabit Bering Island to this day.
