Riding a motorcycle is a passion, but one that has risk. So too is travel through the brutal Russian winter. Combining the two is crazy, surely? The thought of riding a motorcycle through some of the coldest places on the planet both fascinated and frightened me, but over time the seed of an idea grew to a desire to make an expedition like no other.
