The purpose of the journey is to get to remote areas of Siberia and see how people live in harmony with nature in very difficult climate conditions and isolation from the outside world. To complete the circular route required crossing the Arctic along the Northern Sea Route and travelling through Russia from east to west. This journey took two years.

Not everywhere on this route has roads. Often it was necessary to raft down rivers on boats together with the motorbike and to travel on cargo ships. To connect the Far North of Chukotka with the big land I had to cross 5 seas of the Arctic Ocean and then sail along the Kolyma River 1500 km from the isolated Chukotka Peninsula to the Magadan region. Sometimes the bike had to be moved on the water to another vessel without going ashore.
